Celebrate literacy and host a Family Literacy Night.  The evening is a fun gathering and shows that your school is committed to sharing the joy of reading with the community.  Books will be available for puchase and I’ll sign and personalize them for the families.  Family Literacy Nights usually last 1.5 hours with the program, Q&A and signing.

In my Meet the Author presentation, families will discover what’s inside a writer’s toolbox and learn how a book is created.  One of my books will be showcased in a multi sensory program.

Families will explore natural objects using hand lenses to build a word bank for creating poems in  Writing Nature Poetry. 

Program fee for a Family Literacy Night is $250 plus roundtrip mileage from Carefree, Arizona.  Three books to be used as door prizes are included in the Meet the Author Night.  All supplies for the Writing from Nature program are included.  You may purchase additional books as door prizes at a discounted price.
